FAQs
What is REAL?
The REAL Program is an innovative 4-day seminar that helps you
understand your strengths and weaknesses and how to utilize these
traits to exceed your goals. Attendees of the program have
experienced significant improvement in sales, productivity,
efficiency, and communication. The skills you obtain will
serve you throughout your life and in any situation, both personally
and professionally.
The REAL Program works so that every person can tailor the tools
and techniques to their own style and personality. Unlike
other training programs, there are no workbooks to study or phrases
to memorize. The skills and tools you will learn can be
applied immediately. You will also obtain a clear understanding of
your goals and how to succeed.
Until now, REAL’s success secrets were unknown to those who have
not worked directly with the program’s creator, Doug Carter.
Doug brings more than 25 years of corporate and personal training
experience to the program along with a customized strategy that
dramatically increases productivity.
REAL also includes the psychological expertise of John Cunningham
who created the EnCompass Resources training program.
EnCompass has its roots in behavioral science studies and clinical
applications that have been used for nearly 2 decades. John
brings over 20 years of experience as a licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist to the program.
Together, John and Doug deliver lessons that are proven to be
effective in assisting people achieve optimum results at a fraction
of the cost and time of any training resource program currently
available.
What kind of results do you get from
REAL?
Productivity increases, profits increase, the level of
communication increases, and confidence soars. These are just
some of the results you can get from REAL. The results are
significant regardless of the level of your career.
Where did the idea of REAL come from?
Instructor and behavior psychologist Doug Carter was approached
by the CEO, Pam Cundy, who was looking for a program that would
allow people to be so at peace with themselves regardless of the
size of the audience that those people in the audience, whether it’s
one person or a group would notice that there was something truly
exceptional, grounded, present, authentic, REAL, something
about them that would be so special that people would actually want
to be involved with them even before they necessarily knew what they
talked about.
Doug then took it to the next level; pulling from 29 years of
experience and Gallup’s study on employee satisfaction, and
succeeded in creating a program that can increase the profitability
of companies. Each year when the Fortune comes out with the
100 companies to work for in America, Gallup, a research company,
reasoned that they were missing the boat by focusing on what the
company has to offer an employee in the form of benefits, bonuses,
etc because people don’t work for companies, they work for people
and people don’t leave companies; they leave managers.
Of the thousands of questions that they used to interview people
on employment satisfaction, they found twelve questions that
actually predict the company’s profitability. Doug went about
creating this program to raise the score of these twelve questions
and as a result of the increase in satisfaction, the program can
actually change someone’s perception by helping them shed limiting
beliefs and helps them better identify their belief structure so
that they showed up differently in the world.
How are the results measured?
The results are measured in four areas: self esteem, resiliency,
external stress and psychological distress (that voice in someone’s
head that destroys self esteem). The results have been
astounding in each class that has participated.
With this specific measurement system, 9% change in scores
indicates a significant change. From the past participants,
the smallest class increase was 14.4% and the highest 53.3%.
The results speak for themselves.
At Paliani Consulting, we take it a step further by helping you
set up measurement standards whether it be employment satisfaction,
profit increase, sales increase or team moral, we can help you
establish a system of accountability.
How do I know if REAL is right for me?
REAL is the perfect fit if you want to:
Get to that next level in your career
Increase sales and boost your closing ratio
Develop your management skills and become a great leader
Gain a stronger connection with your clients, prospects,
co-workers, family, and friends
Increase your level of communication and make your points
stronger and more clear
What is the difference between REAL and other training
programs?
The difference lies in the difference between education and
training. There is a fundamental difference between training
and education. The purpose of education is generally to impart
knowledge. There’s an implied concept that there’s a result
you want to get, but really it’s about processing knowledge.
Training is designed to create a behavioral change and you’re going
to walk out of REAL with an incredible behavioral change that the
people in your life will notice
Over 90% of the training dollars spent each year by companies and
organizations are not actually spent on training. Those
dollars are spent on education. As good as that education may
be...the purpose of education is to increase knowledge. But
that doesn't necessarily mean you can actually DO anything
differently. You just KNOW more. Most of us already know
far more than we are using. Training creates a behavioral
change. REAL gives you that change and you begin experiencing
that change and implemented the new found tools you receive starting
day 1. You don’t need to study the process or the information
you got in the program, it is immediately available.
Why is it 4 days?
The exercises and what is covered in the course builds upon
itself to create a transformational change for you and your
business. Splitting up the course would disrupt the momentum
of the course and the participant’s focus. We would be happy
to discuss other training opportunities, but REAL will not be able
to be offered unless it is in its entirety.
